Emily and Keith

To any of my blog followers, you will remember that I had the awesome opportunity to photograph the very talented and funny Sara Benincasa at her book signing for "Agorafabulous" at the Clinton Book Shop.  It was so much fun and got to meet so many in Sara's family, including her lovely mother Lillie.  Lillie was so happy with the job I did at the book signing she asked me if I would be willing to photograph her God-daughter's wedding ceremony they would be having locally, before they left for their fabulous destination wedding in Jamaica.

Well I didn't have to think twice; I was honored Lillie wanted me there for this very special occasion.  It was great fun seeing the family again and getting to meet the new side of the family!  Emily the bride and Keith her handsome groom were so very nice and we got the most beautiful images.

It was a little more challenging for this wedding because we were without the grandiose of a reception venue; but experience, imagination, and an assistant who doesn't mind contorting herself to hold branches out of the way of my camera lens so I could "just step back a couple more inches" got the job done, and got it done beautifully.  God was kind enough to let the rain stop for the afternoon and we ended up with images I can't wait to share with the happy bride and groom.  They haven't seen them yet, so I can only give this little sneak preview....

This was an incredibly helpful article! I really liked how you explained each point step-by-step without overcomplicating anything. Most blogs only touch the surface, but your content actually provides value that readers can apply right away. Looking forward to reading more posts like this!
