I was hestitant to do a blog post about this, for fear it would be looking like I wanted notarity for something I considered an honor to do.  However, some have asked to see the pictures, so thank you for reading this post, but please give all the attention to Stephen, his Family, and Our Lord who took him home.

Yesterday I had a wonderful time photographing Stephen Austin Maszczak's Bench Dedication at the school he attended.  For anyone not familiar with Stephen, he is so many things it's almost too hard to list.  He was a sweet little boy, amazing son to his parents, awesome big brother, and probably the strongest Christian I'll ever know.  He's also someone whom God chose to bring home to heaven, rather than have him struggle against cancer any longer.  He left us here at only age 7, but we know we'll see him again.

His amazing elementary school DesMares and especially his art teacher worked very hard in conjuction with the students and of course Stephen's amazing family to create a butterfly garden and hand tiled mosaic bench.  It was truly beautiful how many people, adults and students alike came out to honor Stephen's memory.
