Many brides ask me when they should book their wedding photographer.  I always answer, the sooner the better!  Once you have the venue chosen it's a good idea to get started right away on your photographer.  Most good studios have one head photographer and if you like her work you'll have to book early to ensure he/she's available. It breaks my heart when I have to turn down a bride because she waited to long to call and her date has already been taken.

Your wedding photography is such an important decision; your wedding album will be the one lasting memory that you can be sure future generations will cherish and what they will know your wedding day by.  You don't want to have to go with your "second choice" because the photographer you love has already been booked. 

Whoever you choose, you want to make sure you know the following.

• Who will actually be taking my pictures?
• When will I be able to receive all my COMPLETED images?
• Is this your full time job or something you just do on the side?
• Do you actually have an office or do we have to meet in some place like a diner or a kitchen table? 

You only have one chance to capture the day you started your life together; make sure you capture it with someone your trust.
