We often hear the question, "I'm not sure how much time I need for pictures."

Most likely you've never had to put this much thought into just one day before and it can seem like a daunting task. While all weddings are different, most break down into 4 main pieces, Getting Ready, Ceremony, Pictures, Reception. Your wedding may need more or less time on any one part, but in general we have found the following schedules work great.

• Getting Ready, 1-2 hours
• Ceremony, 30 minutes-1 hour 
• Pictures, 1-2 hours (First Looks occur before the ceremony.)
• Reception, 4 hours (This does not include cocktail hour.)
