We often hear the question, "I'm not sure how much time I need for pictures."

Most likely you've never had to put this much thought into just one day before and it can seem like a daunting task. While all weddings are different, most break down into 4 main pieces, Getting Ready, Ceremony, Pictures, Reception. Your wedding may need more or less time on any one part, but in general we have found the following schedules work great.

Getting Ready, 1-2 hours
Ceremony, 30 minutes-1 hour
Pictures, 1-2 hours (First Looks occur before the ceremony.)
Reception, 4 hours (This does not include cocktail hour.)
