Kim and Andrew

What a great time I had at Kim and Andrew's wedding!  They and all their family were so friendly and warm I felt like I was photographing old friends.  The day started by photographing Kim and her girls getting ready at her beautiful home.

It was cute how all the girls were wearing their matching bridesmaid's hoodies.  Kim also did something I absolutely love; she put a little message in jewels on the bottom of her shoes.  I knew I just had to capture it.  I was a little tricky to capture the jeweled "I DO" message on the back of her heels without having the shadow of her heel going through the text.  But, by properfly arranging her shoes and using an off camera flash remotely I was able to capture her shoes, the message, and her jewelry, all beautifully.

Then it was off to the church to photograph Andrew and his guys getting ready, and they were having an equally good time....

Then it was time for their beautiful ceremony.  They had an amazing candle lighting that I was able to capture through the magic of image stabilzing and pretty high ISO's.  (all my camera junkies will understand ;-P)  It was so beautiful and I just loved the glow of the cross behind Kim and Andrew at the alter.

Then it was on to formal pictures with the extended family.  This can sometimes be a little tricky to gather such a large crowd, but Andrew made sure to keep things entertaining.

Andrew wasn't the only jokester though, and the bridal party gave him a run for his money.

After that, it was just on to fun, romance, and more fun!  Thanks for great time Kim and Andrew!!!
